Prior to that, he was chief speechwriter and head of communications for the Office of the Chairman at Dell, where he was responsible for global communications positioning, planning, and content development.

John began his career as an officer in the Air Force, where he served as a vice squadron commander, an executive officer, and the speechwriter and communications adviser to the four-star commander of the Air Education and Training Command.

John earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Duke University. He divides his time between our offices in New York and Austin, Texas.
