Washington Establishes Statewide AP Credit Policy

On May 4, Washington Governor Jay Inslee signed into law S.B. 5234, which requires the state’s public college and university system to establish a uniform policy for awarding college credit for AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.

The College Board and Khan Academy announce: Studying for the SAT on Official SAT Practice for 20 hours is associated with an average score gain of 115 points.

To better serve the needs of students on their path to college, the College Board will offer – for the first time – an August SAT® and SAT Subject Tests™ administration during the 2017-18 school year. Registration is now open and the administration will be offered on August 26, 2017. To accommodate the August testing date, the January administration of the SAT has been discontinued.
