#APTeacherAppreciationKristin Tobias, Assistant Director, Student Communications
Tuesday was Teacher Appreciation Day, and we celebrated on social media by asking the AP community to share their #APTeacherAppreciation. A morning post and a few retweets was all it took for the concept to catch on. In fact, the community made the holiday their own and started tagging posts with #APTeacherAppreciationDay.
And it wasn’t just students thanking their AP teachers — counselors, principals, school districts, mentees, colleagues, parents, former AP teachers, and graduated students all shared words of gratitude.
There were almost 1,000 appreciative tweets and 6.1 million potential impressions. Some of our favorite tweets are below (including links to photos and videos), but you can find many more by searching #APTeacherAppreciation and #APTeacherAppreciationDay on Twitter.
