This May, the College Board participated in Proof Point Day, a national movement that celebrates first-generation college students and brings together graduates, future first-gen students, and supporters.
Students can now get college planning advice and guidance right from their phones, with the College Board’s CollegeGo mobile app.
This May, more than 300 higher education professionals joined Jack Buckley, Senior Vice President of Research, and Stacy Caldwell, Vice President of College Readiness Assessments, for a “live FAQ” about scores from the new SAT. Stacy and Jack addressed and answered the most pressing questions we’ve heard from the higher ed and K-12 communities about new SAT scores.

In 2014, the College Board announced it would redesign the SAT to better reflect what students need to know to be ready for college, and to connect them with more and better opportunities. Now, scores for the very first administration of the new SAT — which took place in March — are available online.
Today on ACT’s website, ACT CEO Marten Roorda called into question the integrity of the new SAT concordance tables. It is vital to students and our members that we correct this misinformation.
