This year's report shows a surge of students are taking the new SAT Suite of Assessments, creating an opportunity pathway for more than six million students. SAT participation increases for test-takers in 2016; and 1.7 million are using free Official SAT Practice on Khan Academy®.

Educators looking for up-to-date information on Prior-Prior Year (PPY) are encouraged to download a new resource guide produced by the College Board and NACAC. The guide reflects discussions among counseling, admission, and financial aid professionals who devoted time to exploring the role of ethical standards in the transition to PPY. Practical hands-on guidance and case studies are highlighted in the guide.
