College Board Officially Opens New College Board India Office

College Board president Jeremy Singer recently inaugurated the new College Board India Office in Delhi.

College Board president Jeremy Singer recently inaugurated the new College Board India Office in Delhi. The opening of the Delhi office on June 1, 2019 marks the first College Board physical presence outside the United States or U.S. territories.

The office will allow the College Board to greatly expand its services across India and neighboring countries, connecting even more students in the region to high-quality university opportunities. “Our new India Global Alliance offers a unique opportunity to streamline the domestic college-going process for all students in India and create new pathways into Indian universities for traditionally underserved Indian students,” said Linda Liu, vice president for international at the College Board. “The on-ground presence of the College Board India office is critical to achieving this objective.  I’m so proud of the cross-organizational collaboration with the Finance, Legal, HR, Procurement, and IT teams which led to this historic achievement.”

The Delhi office has great views of the Qutub Minar, a minaret dating back to 1100 CE that forms part of the Qutub complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Four staff members currently work out of the Delhi office.
