College Board de Puerto Rico y América Latina se complace en anunciar los dos oradores principales para su Conferencia a celebrarse el 5 y el 6 de marzo en Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Este año contaremos con dos figuras prominentes de la comunidad educativa internacional, el Dr. Francisco Marmolejo, Especialista Principal en Educación Superior del Banco Mundial y la Dra. Gloria Bonilla-Santiago, catedrática de Rutgers University y especialista en política pública y áreas de desarrollo de la comunidad
El programa de la Conferencia incluirá ponencias y talleres sobre contenidos relacionados con el tema general de la actividad, Políticas educativas: intercambio de propuestas para una transformación social. Este año las presentaciones girarán en torno a aspectos tan variados como el acceso a una educación de calidad; la transformación tecnológica y su impacto en la educación; la educación multidisciplinaria; iniciativas para estudiantes desventajados; alianzas para la transformación educativa y modelos transformadores, entre otros.

PRAL 2015 College Board Conference Announces Key Note Speakers
The College Board of Puerto Rico and Latin America is excited to announce the two keynote speakers for the upcoming conference to be held on March 5 and 6 at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This year’s conference will welcome two prominent figures from the international educational community: Dr. Francisco Marmolejo, Lead Tertiary Education Specialist of the World Bank and Dr. Gloria Bonilla-Santiago, Professor of Public Policy and Administration and Director of the Center for Strategic Urban Community Leadership at Rutgers University.
The program for the conference will include presentations and workshops focused on the overall theme of the event, Educational Policies: An Exchange of Proposals for Social Transformation. This year’s presentations will focus on issues as varied as access to a quality education; technological advances and its impact on education; multidisciplinary educational models; initiatives aimed at disadvantaged students; partnerships for educational transformation and models for change, among others.
