Why are you attending Forum this year?
This is my first year attending Forum and I’m very excited to be here. I was invited to come as a member of the College Board Enrollment Leadership Academy of the middle states region.
What are you most looking forward to?
Getting more information about the redesigned SAT; and developing a better understanding of the new assessment so I will be equipped to answer students’ questions.
What information will you bring back to your school?
Specific information about the redesigned SAT. A lot of us in the field have a general idea of what the new SAT will entail, but I’m looking forward to sharing new details with my team, specifically communication plans and recruitment strategies we can use to support students in the transition.
What’s one thing you’ve enjoyed learning about?
For me, as a college admission counselor, I enjoyed learning more about Khan Academy. I work with a lot of students who struggle on the SAT, and now I know I can recommend this great, free tool to help them prepare.
