Delegates

Delegates are appointed annually by the member organization chief executive or membership account manager.

Delegates are a link between their organization and the College Board. They’re encouraged to represent their organizations at national and regional assembly meetings at Forum each fall and regional forums each winter.

Delegates serve on three key assemblies:

Academic Assembly delegates take action on issues related to academic standards, curriculum development, and instruction across all disciplines within the education continuum.

Counseling and Admission Assembly delegates connect the important work of school counselors with higher education admission policies and practices.

CSS/Financial Assistance Assembly delegates consider policies, practices, and procedures associated with college affordability and financial aid.

More on delegates and their roles at how we're governed.

Events and Professional Development Workshops

Local College Board professional development workshops and events are tailored for middle school, high school, and higher education participants. Members receive a discounted rate to attend training on topics such as financial aid, curriculum development and instruction, and college counseling.
