As a College Board member, your organization is a part of a community of educators that has been working together for more than 100 years to deliver opportunity for students. Our members are from more than 6,000 organizations worldwide.
Information About Delegates
Delegates are elected each year by the chief executive officer, or CEO, of a member organization. Delegates serve as a direct link between their organizations and the College Board. They are encouraged to represent their organizations at regional and national assembly meetings, which take place during the Forum each fall and at the regional forums each winter.
Delegates also receive the latest information on College Board programs, services, and education initiatives.
Delegates serve on three key assemblies:
Academic Assembly Delegates take action on issues related to academic standards, curriculum development, and instruction across all disciplines within the education field.
College Scholarship Service Assembly Delegates consider policies, practices, and procedures associated with college affordability and financial aid.
Guidance and Admission Assembly Delegates connect the important work of school counselors with higher education admission policies and practices.
